How it works
How our scores are determined — and where they fall short
You shouldn't have to take our word for anything. Here's exactly where the numbers come from.
Two sources, kept separate
Fees, rewards and welcome offers come from the issuer's own pages (and a few trusted deal trackers, always linked). The opinions come from Reddit — we call them community anecdotes, because that's what they are.
How sure are we?
highConfirmed on the issuer's site, or by several sources that agree.
mediumOne source, or small disagreements between sources.
lowOnly mentioned on Reddit, or not yet confirmed.
When is an offer “live”?
It was live on the date we checked, which we show next to it. Offers change without warning and some are personalized per applicant, so treat anything undated as stale.
What we won't do
- Guess. A blank fee shows as “—”, never as a made-up number.
- Pretend a handful of Reddit comments is a survey. Many cards have single-digit anecdotes.
- Dress up links as offers. The issuer's own site is always the place to apply.
